Still No Paci

Today is Baby Bear's fourth full day with no paci and I couldn't me more proud of her. The first two times that we tried this she made our day miserable. but this time she has done an amazing job! She has obviously asked for it but when she doesn't I have just told her that it's gone and she doesn't get it anymore.  She just pretty much says ok and then walks away. The plan was to just take it away during the day for a couple of weeks and give it to her when she napped and went to bed. But that first night I gave her the paci, but she spit it out and spent the night without it. So then I decided to just take it away all together . At first she decided that if she couldn't have it then she would just skip naps. She is still trying to but I'm not really letting her skip and she just passes out after a couple of minutes of fighting. Now the only problem is that she has decided to start waking up at 5:00 am since that very first day without it. I'm hoping that she is just getting used to sleeping without it and that eventually we will start sleeping in later again..
