The Switch

For the last week or so we have had problems at night with Sydney going to sleep. It has just been way too hot in her room. For some reason that is the only room in the house that the ac just doesn't seem to work in. She has been too warm to go to sleep peacefully. But we had a slightly smaller office that stays super cool all of the time.

So today my goal was to switch the rooms. I needed to put the office in the slightly larger room and move her bedroom to the smaller-cooler room. Sounds simple right? WRONG! I started at 9:00 am and stopped at 4:00 pm. Once I got the old office empty setting up her room was fairly easy. Amazingly it even looks like she has way more room in the smaller room. But the office was an entirely different story. Even with more room we have way too much crap. Plus we had to add a bed into that room that wasn't in the old office because the mother in law is coming down for two weeks next month. After rearranging several times we finally got it finished, and Sydney LOVES her new room!

Now my big thing is that I want to paint and redecorate Sydney's room. She has the same bedding that was in her crib. I loved it then but now I think she needs something more playful! Im guessing her room will me my next big project that I will start after her birthday!
