Baby Bear Turns Two!

This has been an amazing, very full, weekend!

Two years ago today I was in the hospital and I met the most amazing little girl that I have ever met!  Baby Bear  is truly the best thing that has ever happened to me and Papa Bear. In these two years we have been able to watch her grow and develop into the beautiful little girl that she is today!

This weekend has been all about her. Saturday we went to the airport to pick up Grandma, who is here for  Baby Bear 's birthday. Then we spent the day having fun and making our way towards Dahlonega for my niece's six birthday.  Baby Bear  had a blast and got a small preview of what hers would be like the next day! She realized just how much she loves balloons!

We left the party and made the VERY LONG drive home. When we got home we were so exhausted that we pretty much just went to bed!

Sunday we woke up and it was the day of the party. We had to run a few errands also. We went to Checkers for lunch, and of course we locked ourselves out of our car, so we ended up stuck there for a while waiting on the locksmith. That was definitely an unexpected expense that we were not so happy about. We eventually picked everything up and made it to the Midway Meal House to do  Baby Bear 's party. We did a Minnie Mouse theme and she loved it!

Overall the party was a hit! But poor  Baby Bear  fell off of a chair twice! she got a few bumps and bruises and busted her lip in two spots. We felt so bad for her! Of course she was upset but was a champ and got over it eventually! We went home after and just unloaded presents and relaxed for a bit. I wont be buying bags or tissue paper for a long time! 

Today it is finally my baby girl's 2nd birthday. We had her two year checkup this morning but other than that it was all about her! We took her out for breakfast and went shopping. The part that Ihave been looking forward to for months was finally giving her her bike!

She is still a little short, but it wont be long!

She loves it. So it was a hit. Then we went  out to a new place for dinner. We have been wanting to try that place for months! It was so delicious! We will definitely be going back! As much as I have loved celebrating  Baby Bear 's birthday I will be so happy not to been the run all day tomorrow. We definitely need to clean up and relax a little!
