Canal Days

6.03.2012

There is a canal that runs through our tiny little town. Apparently once a year they hold something called Canal Days here. It lasts all weekend and it literally right down the street from us.
Yesterday while I was working Baby Bear mentioned that she wanted to go out for breakfast. So we all gathered our things and walked to town to go to our favorite little Cafe and eat.
This was Daddy keeping Baby Bear busy until the food came. After we ate we decided we wanted to go ahead an stay in town for the parade. So we ran home, grabbed the stroller, and came back to wait.
She hasn't ever watched a real parade before and was so excited that she could hardly stand it! When the music started she just started clapping and dancing. She loved it! Plus the fact that she got 4 tootsie rolls made it the best day EVER in her book!
Mommy enjoyed seeing the old classic cars!
I'll take the coral one please!!!
After the parade we came home and did nap time and Mommy squeezed in a little work (when I should have been napping too!) After everyone woke up, we walked back to town and Baby Bear got to ride her very first pony. She was a little unsure and loved it at the same time.
After this we came home and I did a little more work. Then we walked down to A&W for dinner.
It was another one of those genuinely good days! I hope you all enjoyed yours as well!
