"Momma Bear": a new me!

Okay, so it's not really a NEW me, but it is a me that feels much better!!!

I went yesterday and got about 7 inches cut off of my hair. It feels so much better that it's ridiculous! It was also the most relaxing experience I have had in a really long time! I walked into my Aveda Salon of choice, and first of all the place smelled amazing! Then I look around and notice that I have made my appointment so early that there wasn't anyone else getting their hair cut while I was. So it was just me and my stylist, free to talk as much as we wanted. Then I got a scalp massage and hand massage before I even got my hair cut. It was amazing! I am someone who likes to talk to my stylist when they cut my hair. I like to feel like I'm getting to know them. So between the massages, the girl talk, and the fabulous haircut I was in HEAVEN!

After this Papa Bear took me to Kohls and I got two shirts that I am LOVING and can not wait to wear! one of them is in the picture above! It was definitely a pampered Momma day, and it was amazing! I love taking little days off to do things like that!

Love the haircut---I love going to the hair salon just because it is a few moments to myself!!!!!!!! You deserve some pampering for all that hard work you do;)

What an amazing day! And I love your hair! I got mine cut a couple months back but chickened out of getting it chopped. Now with 100 degree summer ahead I'm reconsidering. The next salon groupon that shows up in my inbox is getting purchased!
