What I Have Been Up To

6.07.2012

I am super sorry that I have been lacking on posts lately I have a good excuse though! I swear!  Can you see what Baby Bear is doing?
We have been super busy lately with potty training. Baby Bear is now wearing BIG GIRL UNDIES! She is still having accidents, but it has gotten way better. We are down to one or two accidents a day. Which I think is pretty good! I do have to say that I was starting to feel like I was going crazy with my alarm going off every 10 to 20 minutes! But she is slowly getting there! Am I the world's worst mom when she does great all day and then I get so frustrated when she suddenly goes on herself. I hate to admit it but I get a little aggravated when she goes on herself! She knows what to do and just chooses not to sometimes. Regardless of the accidents I am super proud of my Baby Bear. She has been doing it for three days now and is definitely on the right track.

What else have I been doing you ask? Because surely potty training isn't the only thing keeping me busy... Well, I have been crazy busy with blog design lately!
I have been able to work with all sorts of different clients lately and I am loving it! Make sure you check out my portfolio to see all of the designs, but this is one on my most recent designs. Sarah is a personal stylist and wanted a blog/site. I loved working with her and think the final product was amazing! I have another business design going on as well.  I can not tell you how much this excites me. I mean people think that what I am doing is good enough that they want me to do it for them! I am booked through June and every time that I get a new client I consider it to be the BIGGEST compliment ever!
I am so excited about my current and waiting designs and am just hoping that the business continues in this direction!!!
So there you have it! I have been so busy working and begging my child to go potty  potty training that I have been a major slacker here. I am trying to get better though, I promise! Please stick around to see what else goes on in my house of Bears as I get better at blogging again!

***Ps. One of my most recent designs is hosting a giveaway! Go check Crystal's giveaway out here***

  1. I don't think you're the WORST mom when you get upset because she had accident. I'm sure there's parents out there that get frustrated because they want their child to learn. But it's a learning process. We need to have patience!!!! LOL

  2. I was so desperate when I started potty training without results for almost a month.I would really get frustrated.
What I did, I showed my child that it's very bad,I made him feel that. How can he learn it if he thinks that it's ok?and of course...lost of encouragement.Every time he did it in the potty we would cheer and clap and dance and you know what WE DID IT,now if he does it in the potty and we forget to cheer him up ,he would remind us to do it.The best part of it that even at nights, when he still wears his nappy he almost doesn't pee:)Can't believe it!

  3. You are doing super great!! It's easy for us moms to get down on ourselves. She is so lucky to have such a wonderful and loving mom and you are doing a SUPER great job with the potty training.

Congratulations on all of you great designs. I'm sure that this is just the start and some day we will all have to wait 6 months to even get in on your schedule!!

  6. Congrats on getting so much work--that's awesome!

Some ladies in our moms' group were talking today about potty training and one stressed just how important it is to stay positive and just remind them that big boys/girls do not go to the bathroom in their pants. I think you are probably doing awesome and I know we will all lose our cool sometimes. It's part of our learning process too!!!
    Good luck!
