Proud Mommy

Today was definitely a proud Mommy day for me!

We got up this morning and Papa Bear asked me if I wanted to go and get my planner that we have been talking about. I got it and LOVE it! I will take a picture and post it soon, but it's the Martha Stewart planner that you build yourself to be what you want it to be. It's exactly what I wanted!

But back to my proud Mommy moments today! After getting my planner we went and grabbed a bite at Chic-il-a for breakfast. We told Baby Bear that if she ate all of her fruit cup she could go and play on the playground. (which she has never done before) So of course she devours her breakfast and into the play room we go. I figured we would have to stay in Toddler town and that would be it. Nope! She walked into Toddler Town and then right back out. She started climbing into the tube that leads up to the tunnel and the slide. Aside from me having to help her climb that tunnel because the steps were spaced too far apart she did everything on her own!

She played in there for a while and when we left I couldn't believe how proud of her I was. She wasn't really ready to stop playing when we left though so we took her back to the park. It was really cloudy outside and it looked like it could rain at any minute. So we were the only people on the playground! It was pretty nice!

She played on the little one for a while and then we told her that she could go and play on the big one (that we normally stop her from going to) since there weren't any other big kids on it. 

She did great! We have noticed that every time we go she is doing more and more on her own! I am sad, yet proud all at the same time. It was so funny though, because while she was going up and down the big playground Papa Bear started recording her every once in a while, or taking pictures. When she would see him at the top she started saying this:

It was hilarious! Other than this we didn't do much for the rest of the day. It was still a pretty great day of quality family time and I couldn't ask for more! I hope you all had a great day as well!
