A Sneak Peek Of Spring

Yesterday was the first preview that we have really had of SPRING! It was so nice! It wasn't really super warm, but it was so sunny. It was just warm enough though to get out, go for a nice walk, and enjoy a little time as a family. We got away from the computers, the tv, and even our phones and just walked.

I think that Piggy may have enjoyed it almost as much as kiddo did. Last Spring/Summer we were ALWAYS going on these really long walks. Then winter came and the walks came to a fast hault. So while we were walking, we really just soaked it all in. The sun felt amazing, and it was so refreshing to just be outdoors.

Near the end of our walk we passed Pizza Hut and Baby Bear saw the buffet sign. She started asking begging us to go to the Pizza Hut buffet for dinner. So we told her that (if she was a good girl for that remaining hour before the buffet opens) then we would walk over for dinner since we haven't ate there since it was warm outside. So we waited and waited while our bellies were rumbling and then when it was almost time we walked over.

When we entered the restaurant she was so excited. She told everyone that she was going to have a salad and then some pizza. When I say everyone, I mean that the whole restaurant heard her. She was so excited! She was not kidding when she said that she was going to eat a salad. When I brought our salads to the table, she scarfed that sucker down!!! We were shocked at how she was so very quiet and ate every single bite!

After dinner we walked home and decided that since it was so bright and sunny outside we might have a little more fun. We let her ride her bike outside for the first time ever! (normally she just rides it int he house)

 

We were out there for over an hour and she was having so much fun! Plus we were happy for us all to have a little fresh air!She rode that bike up and down the side walk so many times. It was amazing to see her like this. When she was really small we honestly dreamed of this day. We would watch the kids in our old neighborhood when she was only a couple of months and we couldn't wait for the day that she would be able to do that. This day has finally come and I couldn't be more proud. My little baby is definitely growing up, and a little too quickly if you ask me!

So... SPRING... The spring weather isn't here yet, but it is definitely coming. So if every day is like yesterday, then BRING IT ON BABY! Spring can not come soon enough.
