A Happy Easter

Every holiday is a new experience as Baby Bear grows each year. This Easter was a very low key year. She had a cold and nobody really felt very well. But the night before Easter we colored eggs for the first time ever.

Last year we ended up painting them instead of dying them. So this year was a whole new experience! She was so impatient and so excited at the same time! Then when it came time for her to decorate them with the stickers she took her time placing each and every one...in one spot on each egg. haha! But she loved it and that is what really mattered. 

Once these were decorated we told her the Easter Bunny would know where to find her to leave her surprise. Then she woke up and there was a trail of marshmallows that led her to her Easter basket. The funny thing about those marshmallows is that this was the second trail that "the bunny" left. Piggy decided that is would be a good idea to follow the trail and eat every single one of them while everyone was asleep. Then we spent the day relaxing and eating candy. It was a sick, and laid back day, but a very good one at the same time.

There were points where I told Papa Bear that it just didn't feel like Easter to me with the cold weather and the fact that it was so gloomy outside, but at one point the sun came out and it ended on a great note.
