An Amazing Day!

For the last month I have been DYING knowing that back in Georgia it has been 70 to 80 degree weather and here is snowed last week. Every time I would look at my weather on the phone I would want to cry my eyes out.

Today it was 68 degrees outside and it was AMAZING!

As soon as Papa Bear left for work Baby Bear and I threw some clothes on and went outdoors. First we picked up all trash that flew into our yard from the street over the last 6 months. Then we raked all of the leaves and sticks off the grass and got rid of it. Afterwards we went to the back yard and I decided I would go ahead and clean up after Piggy. It was so funny, because when we went to the back yard Baby Bear said that she needed a Popsicle to help cool off after all of the work that "SHE" did in the yard.

She just sat there and ate her reward while enjoying the sunlight. It was so nice to see her content to just play outside!

I eventually made her take a nap because I knew she would need it if we were to enjoy the weather more today. Once she was awake we were right back out the door! It was time to play with our sidewalk chalk.

We practiced the alphabet, our number, shapes, and even her name. Then we played a little hopscotch and wrote a note for Daddy to see on his way in. Eventually she was just drawing whatever she wanted and I was sitting next to her soaking in some sunshine and listening to music before we needed to go in and cook dinner. We even ate dinner in the sun room because it was so beautiful. Then after dinner we played outside a little more. Eventually it was too windy and chilling off so we ran indoors.

I felt better today than I have in WEEKS! I got so much accomplished and felt more balanced. It was a picture perfect day, I can't wait for tomorrow!
