Taking Tiffany Back | Weeks 6 & 7

12.31.2013

I am halfway through week 8 today, so I am more than a little late posting this!
165.5 pounds

168 pounds

Let's just say that weeks 6 and 7 have not been my strongest. The workouts are definitely harder, but thats not the problem because I actually kind of love them. The problem with weeks 6 and 7 was time. I should have finished week 7 only a day or so before Christmas, but everything was so busy that I ended up taking four days off. Around this time my monthly curse also hit me. So not only did I not go workout for almost a week. I also ate a TON of fudge and cookies and whatever else I wanted during this time.

So on the 27th I finally got my butt to the gym to do my final day of week 7 in my challenge. I felt tired, I felt bloated, not motivated at all, and so nervous to step on that scale. I was honestly figuring I would have gained 5 or 6 pounds back because of the amount of sweets I took in. But when I stepped on that scale I was only up TWO POUNDS!!! I could have just about jumped for joy. Seeing that I didn't set myself back too badly really motivated me to kick butt in my workout.

Since then I haven't missed a day and I have worked myself that much harder. Every muscle in my body aches at least a little, but I know thats a good sign so I am loving it!

I have also decided to only weigh myself once a week from this point on. I have been so addicted to seeing that number change daily, and when it doesn't I am a little disappointed. I am curious to see if only doing it at the end of every week changes my mentality and motivation through the week.

So I know that it's New Years and so many people are starting New Year's Resolutions. How many of you are wanting to work on your body's and your health? If so... the Jamie Eason Live Fit Program from BodyBuilding.com is definitely a great place to start!!!
