Chcken Alfredo

10.25.2011

Lately this meal is Papa & Baby Bear's favorite!

Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients:
  • 3 or 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 box of shells pasta
  • 2 jars of Newmans Own Alfredo Sauce
  • a small amount of milk
  • minced garlic
  • extra virgin olive oil

Directions:
  1. Thaw your chicken breasts completely through the day if they are frozen.
  2. Chop the raw chicken into small, bite size, pieces.and cook them covered in a pan with your olive oil and minced garlic on medium/high temp.
  3. While your chicken is starting to cook get your water going to boil your noodles. Once your water is at a rolling boil add your (entire) box of noodles and cook for 12 minutes ( or until they are soft).
  4. Once your chicken is cooked throughout take the lid off and brown your chicken. Then take it off the stove and just wait until your ready to use it.
  5. Once your noodles are ready you will drain them and then put them back into your pot. Pour your two cans of alfredo sauce into your noodles. Then add a tiny bit of milk into each jar. put the lid on them. Then shake them up and them pour the remaining contents into your noodles. Now heat your noodles just until everything is warm enough and dip it up. I do the noodles and then just add the chicken.
The noodles will reheat well if you have leftovers but chicken usually doesn't . So I usually make sure we eat all of the chicken the first night. To reheat  the noodles just add a little milk and microwave. They will come out nice and creamy!
