We have really had a great last couple of days!
On Friday morning we took
Baby Bear to the mall for a play date with my friend's son Brent. Well there were a ton of kids there that day so she didn't really play a whole lot. We mainly walked around and let the kids run some energy out. Later that day we ended up going to the park. We took Piggy for a walk and let
Baby Bear play at the playground for a little bit.
Then we went home and Baby Bear had a Halloween treat in the mail from Grandma. So we called Grandma to thank her. After that we just relaxed and watched movies until bed time.
We got
Baby Bear to watch " The Nightmare Before Christmas" and she loved it! When it was over she said she wanted to watch more "Skelington"! We were happy she loved it because we both love that movie!
Saturday we relaxed until nap time. After her nap we got ready and took her to the park again. Well you know me, I try to take a ton of pictures when we do thing, so we got a few really cute ones there.
We let her play for atleast an hour! She was such a big girl! Normally she makes me go down the big slides with her. But she decided that she could do them on her own after the first couple of times. We did finally get her to leave though by telling her that we were going to go look at pumpkins! We haven't really ever done the pumpkin thing with her until now because she was so small the last two Halloweens. She loved seeing all of the pumpkins.
We just let her run around and play for a little bit until we found our pumpkin.
After we got our pumpkin we went home and immediately got ready to start carving. Once we got it open
Baby Bear wanted absolutely nothing to do with the insides at first. She eventually warmed up to it though and started participating in cleaning it out. Now she loved her pumpkin!
When we were done we went in and baked the seeds. I had thought Papa Bear was crazy when he mentioned it all these years. But it was actually REALLY good. After we got the seeds in the oven we started making dinner. We made spaghetti and meatballs. Only instead of spaghetti we used whole wheat linguini noodles. Baby Bear LOVED it. I couldn't believe how much she ate. We just spent the rest of the night relaxing and updating
Baby Bear s blog. It was a pretty awesome day as a family. I cant wait to see what we get into today and tomorrow!
