Gold Rush!

Today my little family got to go to Gold Rush again! I know that I grew up in Dahlonega and that going to gold rush shouldn't excite me anymore... But it does! 

Going now has a whole new meaning since it is my family going. We never buy anything. We just go and eat and look around. But we have found something that we enjoy is to get the food. Then go to the college and sit in the shade and eat it. We did it these last two years and it worked out great. Especially since  Baby Bear  needed to run and play out a little bit of energy!

We got to sit there and watch the parade go by. She loved seeing the firetrucks and all of the old cars!

Last year she had no clue what was going on! This year she actually got to enjoy it!

One thing that I did make sure to do was take a certain picture. Last year we went and sat on Gold Museum steps and took a picture so we did another one to see the change over a year!

The differences that a year can make just amaze me! We really had a blast at Gold Rush!
 I love that it is festival season!
