I Kicked Coffee

Before getting pregnant I RARELY drank coffee. I would basically share some with Papa Bear once in a while. But I never needed it!

Then I became Mommy and with the late nights, early mornings, and wake ups in between... Coffee sort of became a lifeline for me! I NEEDED a nice large cup of coffee to help me wake up and perk up a little. Once I had my coffee I was good to go! Then one day I started needing more than one cup. I know this is totally normal for some people, but not for me.

So when I started trying to lose weight I decided to kick soda and coffee to the curb. Soda went away for way longer than coffee. I needed my dear friend in my cup every morning or I was not happy.

Eventually I discovered how much I LOVE me some tea!!! Green tea, black tea, chai tea... you name it, it's FABULOUS! With this new found obsession I decided to try to start having a cup of green tea every morning instead of coffee. It tastes delicious and had a fraction of the caffeine. That's a win for this momma!

Now it has been a couple of months and I LOVE my tea in the mornings! The best brand that I have found is Revolution Tea. We keep their tea in our cupboard. My favorites are Earl Grey Lavendar, Sweet Ginger Peach,and then the obvious Green Tea. The flavor is amazing!!!

I actually don't miss coffee at all!

Now if I could just permanently stay away from soda! I will do good for a long time and then have 1 or 2 a few and suddenly I am hooked again! Then I have to go through withdrawal headaches all over!
