Guess what day it is...
Seriously... How is it already Friday again!
Oh well! I have to day that even though I haven't kicked ass this week as much as I would have liked... I have still done really well! I am still focusing on the Jamie Eason Live fit 12 week program. I have to admit that I am LOVING it! I had mentioned last week that I loved it but thought that it needed cardio added to it. The very next day I got one of the weekly videos that she sends out and she mentioned that alot of people were concerned about the fact that there wasn't any cardio on there initially. She explained that it's because your burning calorie that you need to build muscle when you add cardio to it. So I have stuck with exactly what the program says. Something that I LOVE is that with each exercise there is a video showing you exactly how to do it! I watch the videos, make my little workout plan in my notebook and am on my way! Even if you miss a day and are scheduled for something else the next day, you can backtrack. Trust me... I took my two days off when I was scheduled to work out and am playing catch up right now.
But that bitch of a mother nature came around and there was no way that I was making it to the gym that first day! So I took the day off and have been playing catch up.I think I have two more days of workouts and then I will take a day off and start with week three of the fitness plan!
I have been looking on pinterest alot lately and I found this...
It is definitely a motivator. I have lost weight, but it isn't majorly obvious to me yet, other than my bras suddenly being way too big. I am hoping that if I stick to this I will be where I want by spring, or at least well on my way. We have been eating better, but sometimes it is hard to make a perfectly healthy meal for the whole family every night of the week. Especially when you are the only one who is trying to tone up and lose weight. But we are definitely making better choices... That has to count for something... right?
Also, I don't know about any of you, but I am a short curvy girl... I am 5'1" and My weight at the moment if about 155. No matter what my weight is I am curvy. So finding PANTS to workout in has proven to be slightly difficult. I found a pair of yoga pants at Target that fit me amazingly because they have short sizes. I thought I would look elsewhere and heard that Old Navy had a great selection... They definitely do, but not for short people. So I have decided that Target is the only way to go! They weren't quite as cheap as Old Navy, but I don't have to alter them. That makes them cheaper in my eyes! I ordered another pair this week and they came in yesterday. I absolutely love them! So if you are short and are having a hard time finding some , have no fear! These are amazing!!!
I know that most of my posts are fitness related lately, but it is kind of a big part of my life right now. I promise I will start doing more posts about other things as well soon so that my blog isn't consumed by weight loss.
So, how have you all been doing lately?
