It's here! It's really here! It may not be the first day of Fall yet, but the weather is telling another story. This morning it was so cool out that when I took Piggy out, I could see my own breathe.
I am actually excited this year for fall! I now live somewhere that I can justify having really cute warm clothing. I'm also super excited because I found a store that has clothes that fits me and had cute fall clothing! I went this week to spend my birthday money and never had to leave Maurices. I don't know if you can tell from my pictures on my blog, but I am a short curvy girl. So it is really hard to find pants that actually FIT me. I have been in American Eagle jeans for years and they didn't really fit my hips that well unless I went up in sizes. But when I went up in sizes, even the short jeans were too long. When I was at Maurices I got 3 pairs of jeans, 3 tops, and a pair of boots for only $191! I had $170 in birthday money. So I really spent next to nothing, and I could have spent way more because there are already more items that I want! I'm not fat, I know that, but it was so nice to be able to shop and not feel like I was trying to squeeze in.
So now that I know a couple of places I will be getting clothes, I'm excited for fall!

ReplyDeleteIt's sad when fall turns into winter and no longer does it matter what you are wearing...because no one ever sees more then your winter parka. :)
So ready for fall!!! we are back into 100s today!! :( Im going to roast, but I might just head to the mall to get something to wear to the jason Aldean concert next weekend, some toms for the wedding and while im there maybe some new mac makeup!! lol Hope you have a GREAT weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for fall too! Yay on the clothing finds...isn't it the best when you find stuff FITS? My new idea is to ignore sizing and just buy what fits great. Anyway, you just wait: You'll soon be seeing your breath ALLL day long up there in the northern part of the Midwest ;)
