my birthday {part 2}

For years I have heard how fun Papa Bear had at a certain event. This year that even happened to start on my birthday! So how could we not go?!?!

My birthday started off pretty amazingly since Papa Bear got up with Baby Bear and I actually got to sleep in! I didn't get out of bed until 7:40!! That is freaking amazing for me! Once we had our coffee we al got ready and headed towards the city.

We got there as the farmers market was closing up and all of the food booths were setting up. So we went and found a spot on the Capitol's lawn and got set up for when the music started and the food was ready. 

 The weather was truly perfect for our plans and never went above 75. Even though Baby Bear fought her nap in the car she was pretty great! She enjoyed running around in the grass for a while and then when the food booths opened up and the concerts started she went with Daddy to get some food. 

 They came back with this little hot fudge sundae cupcake for me. It was delicious!

We mostly sat there playing and listening to music and Papa Bear would periodically go and get a new food for us to try. It was a pretty amazing day and a new experience for sure! 

We got home around five and spent the rest of the evening cuddling on the couch and watching tv. It was an amazing birthday with my little family!
