A Snow Day

Yesterday got off to a kind of rocky start. We had plans to go to a nearby shoe store and try on lots of Snow boots so that we all had shoes to wear outside this winter. While we were getting ready it started snowing, but we decided to go anyways. We were fine even though the roads were definitely a little slippery. We were stopped for a turning vehicle and everything was fine when BAM! A car hit us from behind because they couldn't stop. Luckily we walked away with minimal damage, even though her car was totaled, and we still went on with our plans. I found a pair of boots and now have them on hold for me! So I'm pretty excited about that. So we came home and the napless toddler wanted to play outside in the snow. So what do you think we did?

Well, first we shoveled some snow.  But after that is was some winter wonderland magic and some great photo moments!

 

Then when it was time to go in we got this little girl. 
Then we made a yummy dinner and made cups of hot tea and hot chocolate. There may have been a small bump in the road (or bumper) but overall it was truly an amazing day!!!
