Asian Sesame Chicken Bowl

6.03.2013

Before I post tomorrow's Tasty Tuesday Menu Plan (big news in tomorrow's post about that!) I wanted to share a new recipe that we tried tonight and loved!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 Vidalia Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Uncooked White Rice
  • 2 Carrots
  • Broccoli (you choose how much)
  • 2 Boneless Chicken Breast
  • Kraft Asian Sesame Anything Dressing
Directions:
  1. Peel and chop your carrots and onion.
  2. Cut your 2 chicken breasts into one inch cubes or smaller.
  3. Start cooking your rice and add the onion in with it. The rice we use takes a few minutes so we always start this first.
  4. Steam your carrots and broccoli together
  5. cook your chicken to your desired goldness. We always use a little bit of sea salt and olive oil when cooking chicken like this.
  6. Once your chicken is cooked throughout you will pour in some of your asian sesame dressing. This dressing is intended to coat the rice as well. So use your judgement on the amount. We used about 1/2 a cup.
  7. Once everything is cooked just start layering it into your bowl! If you need more sauce you should have plenty left over in the bottle.
  8. ENJOY!!!!
I have to confess that the only thing I did for this meal was cut everything into smaller pieces and  Papa Bear did the rest, but it was so good!!!
