We pull up and this place is huge. First of all the parking lot is across the road, but they have a tunnel going under the road so that families can safely come across with ease. Sydney thought this was the coolest thing... But I did too so I can't say too much.
Then you get across and its so cute! There was a little building for a store and to buy tickets to the maze, pumpkin patch, hay rides, etc.. We just bought our way into the corn maze because Sydney had been sick a couple if days before and we wanted her to have fun but not push it to much.
This year their corn maze was a KRAKEN.

We were there on the same day as an elementary school group and there was a break between groups in the corn maze so we went ahead. The way the maze worked was that you got a piece if paper with only one piece of the map on it. You had to make it to the star on your piece and you would get the next piece to the map. I was ready to guide us through when we started! I had this!

Then about two minutes into the maze I had us lost. Haha. I guess this is why I use GPS when I go anywhere right?!?! Lol. So I handed the map over to Papa Bear and dared him to get us through. Wouldn't you know it, he did, and in record time. He seriously should have been in the military or something with his navigation skills. I was pretty proud of him and you could tell that he was pretty proud of himself too...
Once we were done with the maze we went back to the store, showed our map to get Sydney a tootsie roll and then bought some snacks.
Then it was time for the kiddo to play. This place was so cool for kids!! They had animals to pet and feed, but they had a couple of really cool play areas made of the ground and tunnels. I only wish I had captured pictured of them. One of them was made of tunnels, tractor tires, and dirt. Kids seriously would go into in and start playing and the parents wouldn't see them come out right away and they would freak. But it was huge and they were playing in the core of it. Then there was something called the mole hill. It was this giant hill that had tunnels in it for the kids to play in, but at the top there were two huge slides made out of plastic pipes. The kids loved it! Sydney played in each for a few and then we did some more exploring and Sydney found a log that they had to play in.

Talk about making things to play with out of the things that are around you. It was such a cool experience. Then we came home and Papa Bear put on a pot of chili and we did a tiny bit of yard work. I seriously couldn't have asked for a more perfect FALL day. Everything about it was AMAZING. I love this time of year.
