To The Local Apple Orchard

Since the first day of fall I have been DYING to take Sydney to the local apple orchard. It would actually be the first time going there for both of us, but Papa Bear had been before.

So a couple of weeks ago we finally did it. Papa Bear had the day off so we finally went! We got there and it wasn't super crowded like I expected it to be. There were honestly only a couple of cars, but it was a week day and not the weekend so that may have been part of it.

So the store was on one side of the road and the orchard on other other. We picked going to the store first.we walked in and there were just a few things to buy like jams, apples, honey, cider, etc..  We bought two apple turnovers, a half gallon of cider, and a honey comb. Then the plan was to go across the road and do some apple picking and take a few pictures... That was the PLAN all along, but when we were paying we were told that we actually weren't allowed to pick any apples because of chemicals that were on them. I was a little bummed, but we went across anyways to look around and hopefully get a few pictures.

We got a few and then it was time to go. But we weren't going home. Luckily this apple orchard happens to be really close to our favorite lake/park. So what better place is there to go and enjoy the goodies that we just purchased right???

So the trip hadn't exactly gone as planned, but it was truly an amazing day. It was actually the first day that it really started to feel like FALL for me.
