Family Days

Since the hubs started working weird long hours family days have been so amazing to me! We have had three in the last couple of weeks where we just got up and got out of the house. 

On one of them we literally just went and walked around the mall and had lunch. But I snapped this cute picture of kiddo that I loved!

 

I think that was actually on New Years Day. We really didn't do much, but got out for a little while. 

This weeks family days were amazing though! 

On Friday we went out to lunch, and then went to the botanical gardens in our city. 

 It was nice and warm in the dome and let's not forget gorgeous! We really just spent a while walking around and taking it all in.

 

It was a great little escape from the snow outside. We wanted to do more, but by the time we started heading home kiddo was already a little cranky from not having a great nap, so we stopped for the day.

Saturday we got all dressed up again early in the morning and went back to the city for another family fun day! We went to my favorite mall and had a yummy lunch and did a little shopping. We bought a few things, but I wanted to show you these lovelies that I purchased. 

 

I am newly OBSESSED with scarves. This one was at Hot Mama and I got a really great deal on it! It was originally  $38 and I got it for $14!

 

And I can't forget my Anthropologie mug! I seriously love walking through this store! And their mugs are my favorite! We did a little more shopping and took kiddo to a cupcake shop to get a little reward for being good while we were shopping. There were a couple of instances, but she is 3! Shopping isn't exactly as fun for her at this point as it is for me. Although Hot Mama does have a little play area in the center of the store for children while the mama's shop. I love that and so did she!

Then Sunday was a day that we spent mostly relaxing. We did decide to visit Grandma for dinner and do a little Starbucks run, but that was it.  

It really was a pretty amazing weekend! It's these family days that make my heart so happy! We don't normally get enough of them!
