Earlier in the week I was a little down on myself and I wrote this post. It may be silly, but that little number made me feel so defeated because I started this journey around Thanksgiving and hadn't gone very far. I lost a few pounds, and then gained most of it back around Christmas.
Lately I have been using the Anytime Health website that Anytime Fitness offers for free. I use it religiously! I track calories on it, add in my workouts (that I actually got from the website), and it keeps up with how many times I go to the gym! When I saw how many times I went last month I knew why I made NO progress in December... I only went 8 times!!! I sucked!
This month I am doing so much better and going to the gym way more often. I am trying a new routine and feeling it so much more.
But the main reason for this post is that I am HAPPY! When I was at the gym I did my monthly weigh in. I have LOST WEIGHT!!! The last time I checked I was back to my starting point of 165lbs. But last night when I weighed in I was at 159! This may only be 6 pounds, but it made me feel so good to know that I had shed that weight again plus a pound! It's motivation to keep going to the gym through the week and to eat better.
I also got some new gear to work out in... well I got my very first pair of yoga pants. Did you know that Target sells short sized yoga pants?!?! I was so excited and have loved using them the last couple of days! I will definitely be buying more in the near future!
So, overall I am here to say that my attitude has completely turned around! I am feeling great and very proud of myself. I can do this, and I will.
Nobody has ever said that losing weight is easy!
