Today is Mothers Day! It has been an amazing day from the start! I got to sleep in until 7 am. Then when I came into the living room Baby Bear looked at me and said "Happy Mothers Day!". This melted my heart and I just picked her up for a big hug!
I now find myself remembering waking up every Mothers(and Fathers) Day making a huge deal out of my love for my Mom. She gave me a letter when we moved saying that she may not have always been the best mom, but that she tried her best. She doesn't realize how wrong she was! She was both Mom and Dad to me and she did an amazing job! I have nothing but great memories with her growing up. These memories make me wish that I was back in Georgia just to give her a hug and tell her how much I love her! I won't be there to tell her in person this year. But thanks to Lindsey, she got her gift and her letter in plenty of time! I know that she doesn't read my blog, but I hope that she knows how much I love her! She is the most amazing woman that I will ever know and I can only hope that one day I'll be half the mom that she has always been to me!
