All New Look | Back to Basics

If you are on my waiting list for a blog design please don't hate me! I didn't get a bit of work done last night, but I did do a new design for this little spot of mine!

Yesterday's post made me want to kind of give the Momma Bear diaries a new look! Yes, I know it has only been like a couple of months since my last remodel. But shortly after there was just something about that design that wasn't sitting right with me.

A couple of days ago I was talking to Stephany and we were talking about all of my past designs for this blog. Then she mentioned when I used to have the little hear in my header to represent our Baby Bear. And for such a long time I couldn't figure out a way to incorporate it where I loved the design, and still had my "signature bears". Then yesterday IT HIT ME! I had a design in my head! When that happens the best thing to do is just work on it.

So last night, instead of working, I played around a little and my design was completed! I am all for keeping it simple when it comes to my personal blog. That is actually kind of how I am about most things. So once I had the header and the pages done, the rest came together within an hour. Then I sent it to two of my best bloggy friends Erin and Stephany for opinions and this morning it went live!

I love that new design feeling, and hopefully this time the design will stay for longer than a month.

I promise I will get some work done this morning and tonight, but during the day it might be just Papa Bear and I for a few hours and that is so rare! So my computer will not be open!
