Once we had her ready and sent her off with Grandma, we got ready and we went out as well. We decided to go and have lunch somewhere that we probably wouldn't go with Baby Bear. So we went and had SUSHI!!! If you know me at all you know that there are times that I could LIVE off of sushi. It is absolutely amazing to me and something that I would never want to give up completely. So when he pulled into a sushi restaurant for lunch I was thrilled!
After we shared our rolls we went out and did a little bit of shopping. I have had the same black and white striped swimsuit that I purchased at Target for over three years now. It's still in good shape, but I have been dying to get something new and something with some COLOR!
We were looking around and when I saw this one I about DIED! I loved
everything about it, the pattern is amazing and that color just pops. So
I tried it on and IT FIT! I was so happy, so it came home with me.
After we did our shopping we decided to head home and spend a little time sitting out in the sun and listening to music. While we were sitting outside in the sun Hubby made me a drink that I hadn't ever tried before... rum & coke! I LOVED IT! ....until i didn't anymore! Let's just say that 4or 5 of those, a big dinner, and sitting out in the sun made for a very sick Momma Bear! It was awful. I threw up all night long and woke up with a major hangover this morning. I think it will be a long time before I have anymore of those! Coke doesn't even hold appeal to me anymore.
Now I am fine other than a sensitive stomach, so all is back to normal. It was truly a day for the books. lol. It started out AMAZING and then wound up being terrible. But I suppose it was my fault. I should have stopped when my cup was empty that first time. Especially since I almost never drink and have no alcohol tolerance.
Oh well, lesson learned and tomorrow is a new day!
