My First Meal Plan!

Last week Stephany and I were talking, and she mentioned that she always menu plans for the week. It helps keep them on a budget and takes the guessing game out of the equation. She also posted her menu for the week last Tuesday. So I decided I wanted to try to do the same thing this week, link up with her, and maybe it will help me not do the same meals on repeat.

I am hoping that in the long run I start posting nothing but fun new foods and recipes along with with them so that not only am I getting something out of it, but you can too!

So here is the sort of menu plan for this week!
MONDAY: Cookout with family
TUESDAY: Marinated Pork Chops, Herb & Butter Rice, & Sweet Peas
WEDNESDAY: Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo
THURSDAY: Taco Night!!!
FRIDAY: Baked (or fried) Tilapia over Rice Pilaf and Corn
SATURDAY: Heart Shaped Sandwhiches and Carrot Slices
SUNDAY: Freezer Meals

I know that this isn't a fabulous meal plan, but honestly I am just happy that I even came up with a plan at all! On the nights that Papa Bear works late kiddo and I tend to just eat frozen meals. This week that is Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. But Baby Bear and I love alfredo, and Papa Bear isn't so crazy about it, so we will indulge a little then. I just haven't thought of something fun and easy to make for the other two nights, so we will probably just find some freezer meals and try to think of a better plan next week!

If any of you have meal plans that you want to share please let us know! Maybe if a few people do it we can turn it into a link up and all get meal ideas from one another.I am also hoping to maybe make a printable that I can share on here to make menu plans on every week. So this could be fun!
