Pasta Salad

Warm weather is here, and with that comes some of our favorite summer dishes. I am about to show you the worlds easiest pasta salad that takes next to not time at all to make.


Ingredients:
  • 1 box of tri colored rotini pasta
  • 1 bottle of zesty italian dressing 
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 carrots
Directions:
  1.  Start by cooking the entire box of pasta. You will want it to be a little el dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking you will want to peel and cut your carrots and onion. I use a chopper to make the carrots and onions really small. Then I keep them seperate until it is time to add them in. 
  3. Once your pasta is done cooking you will want to rinse it in cold water so that it will not soak up all of your dressing. 
  4. Your final step is to mix it all together. Add carrots and onions into the drained pasta until it looks to your liking. Once you have that set you will start pouring in your italian dressing. For me it usually takes at least 2/3 of the bottle. 
  5. Now you just pop it into the fridge and let it cool. You may want to check it a couple of hours later and see if you need to add more dressing. You do want it to be moist. 
This pasta salad is a staple any time we go to a cook out or want to grill on a hot summer day! If you try it please let me know what you think!
