Easter Recap

I realize that I am a few days late on this post, but it's better late than never! 

So we went to the store the night before Easter to get everything for her Easter basket (no judging! We just moved..) and to dye eggs. Would you believe that we actually forgot to get the egg dye?! Yes, we are just that good! But it's okay! Because Mommy had an idea that I think Baby Bear actually enjoyed more than she would have enjoyed just dying the eggs.

We painted them! I'm sure this isn't an original idea, but I thought it was a great alternative! she loved doing it and we didn't feel like failures for forgetting to get dye. After doing eggs we had dinner and Baby Bear did bath and bed time so that we could put her Easter basket together. 

She woke up the next morning and loved it!

She got to have some candy right away and then we moved the basket because she already had a sugar high.

 We had a laid back day for the most part and then we skyped with everyone in Georgia that was at my  Mom's Easter get together. This was the first year we have missed. Then we started making dinner.

Well, Papa Bear and I made dinner. She banged the mixers together and sang twinkle twinkle. We all had an awesome dinner together with Grandma and then Sydney got to do her Easter egg hunt. We did it in the livingroom since it was so chilly outside. She loved it! 

Like I said before, it was a very laid back Easter. But I truly loved it and think it was just what we needed! How was your Easter?
