I was planning on having this super cute post about a play date that Baby Bear had yesterday on here today! We got to play with those two little girls that I told you all about before.
It was an ugly and rainy day here and our friend Becky came by to visit with her daughters. Well they played for a little while, but it ended with Sydney being super cranky and in my lap not wanting anything to do with anyone. After everyone left we checked her temp and she was running a fever! You could tell she was feeling off all day, but it was like playing just made things way worse. So we got her to eat a little fruit, drink a little water, and checked her temp every hour to see how it did after the ibuprofen that she took.
She went to bed with a low grade fever and woke up at 4 am asking for medicine. She didn't seem warm, but I figured if she woke up asking for it then maybe something was hurting so I gave her a little. when she woke up almost three hours later the fever was gone and she is acting fine!
Hopefully it was just a weird little 24 hour thing.
It breaks my heart when she doesn't feel well!
Hope she feels better soon! Poor girl!
