So do you remember that post that I did about a week or so ago talking aout how excited that I was because we would never have to buy another diaper for Baby Bear again? Well, I spoke a little too soon. From the day I posted that she peed in her bed every night for three nights. So we decided to buy another pack of pull ups and am hoping that she will be doing better by the end of the pack. What I am proud of though, is that she completely understood. I just told her that because she was peeing in her bed again, we would be doing pull ups until she was dry at night. She just looked at me and said "Okay" with a smile. I'm pretty sure that she didn't like waking up in the middle of the night peeing either.
But the fact that she didn't pitch a fit or start crying when I told her no more undies in bed was amazing to me and made me one proud Mama Bear. I am very proud of the progress that we have made so far and know that the diaper free days will be here before we know it!

Nathan is still in pull ups at night and he's 4. We have tried everything. The doctor told me some kids are just very heavy sleepers. Glad she took the news without a fuss!
ReplyDeleteAww!
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to buy another pack of diapers :( Sydney will get there--and at least she's understanding the situation.

I can't wait to read your answers :)
Kenzie is still in pull ups at night. Recently I started not giving her anything to drink about 2 hrs before bed. If she's really thirsty she gets a few sips and of course potty right before bed. Since I've been doing that she's waking up dry. At least she's not in pull ups all day. She's a smart girl she will get it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments on my blog and for following! Potty training is difficult, but it will get better!!! =)

I don't have kids of my own yet, but we're in the process of potty training my niece and it is quite the adventure! I'm sure she'll get it, good luck lady!
ReplyDeleteShe'll get it! It sounds like you are doing a great job directing her but also not putting too much pressure on her.
ReplyDeleteI do not look forward to potty training!
ReplyDeleteI totally feel with you! I have been washing so much bedding lately because we try to go without a pullup for night (my 2 year old) but she keeps having accidents so its back to pull ups:( They are just SO expensive!!
