Natural Drain Cleaner

This morning I was sitting downstairs with  Baby Bear  while she was watching her cartoons. Only instead of watching cartoons I was looking at blogs (yes, I am slightly obsessed with blogging!) when I stumbled upon a new blog I am following. It's called "A Day in the Life of a Five Foot Momma" . Just click ont his link and go check her out. But she had this post that was talking about an alternative to the chemicals you use to unclog your drains.
Let me just tell you that our shower upstairs has been clogged and getting worse and worse. So I decided to look at the post and try it. You wouldn't believe how easy it was! It requires 2 things that are in almost every household!

 

Yes I am serious! It took Baking Soda and Vinegar! That was all. You just pour the baking soda into your drain and then add the vinegar and watch it bubble. It may take a couple of times but it actually worked. My shower is flowing freely again! You have no clue how big of a relief this is. Now I think that today when  Baby Bear  is napping I am going to clean the tub and take a nice long bath, it has been a while since I have been able to just soak in the tub. I could always use  Baby Bear's but there usually isnt the privacy in there that I will get in my own! Thank you Five Foot Mama!
