State Capitol

Christmas may be over, but that doesn't mean that the fun isn't still happening for us! We are still on vacation and even busier now than before Christmas.
On Monday we went to Madison. First we went and had lunch with H ( a family friend ) at a restaurant that I wasn't super impressed with. The service was crummy and the food wasn't really any better. But we still got to see Helen so it was okay.
After lunch we went and had a little fun in Madison. First we stopped somewhere and looked for some Badger gear! We got  Baby Bear  a little zip up hoodie and I got a t-shirt that I think is cute! On the front it shows Bucky from the front, then on the back it shows Bucky from behind! I just love it!
Then we went to State Street! That was the place in Madison I had looked forward to going! It's a street close to the college that is lined in shops and restaurants. Papa Bear took me there once a couple of years ago but it was at night and alot of the shops were closed so I didn't see as much! We walked all the way to the Capitol.

We went inside and it was so pretty! EVERYTHING was made or marble! I mean everything! I wanted to take pictures of everything but I didn't want to have a million pictures. So I held back somewhat. There was this HUGE Christmas tree in the center of the Capitol that was covered in ornaments that were handmade by kids from the schools! That made the tree even better to me, because once Grandma told me that I started looking a little more closely at the tree!

Then we walked up to the higher levels and took some family pictures. I'll  show you a couple but I won't overload you with pictures. 

Overall Monday was a pretty great day! We left a little before lunch time and got back home starving for dinner. We have really had a ton of fun up here so far! The fun just keeps going! Yesterday we went to a waterpark and today we have a playdate to take  Baby Bear  too! But those will be different posts all together!
