Sunday's Festivities

12.20.2011

So as I already mentioned in another post, this last Sunday was my Christmas with my family. I had been looking forward to it for a while. But  Baby Bear  just made the day extra special in so many ways.I will appologize in advance for the amount of pictures!

First of all let me start from the beginning of the day! The whole day was just filled with cuteness!
I was cooking breakfast in the kitchen and we had Christmas music going in the background. Then I hear Sydney say " Dance Daddy!" I walk into the living room and this is what I see them dancing together in the living room!It was the cutest thing! she loves dancing with her Daddy! There is even a little dance that we call the "Daddy dance!
Then when I was getting ready  Baby Bear  went into the closet and (just like always) started trying on Mommy's shoes. Well I have three pairs of shoes that stay in boxes and she finally found them (I plan on moving them soon). She walks out of the closet as happy as can be looking like this!
Well when I finally made her take them off she pitched a huge fit! I mean HUGE fit. I told her it was nap time and she didn't want to nap upstairs. But she comes downstairs with Papa Bear and lays down on the floor and wants a pillow and to be covered up.
I could not believe that she actually took a nap on the living room floor! It was so cute because while she was asleep there Piggy tried to come and cuddle with her but I had to stop her because I didn't want her to wake Sydney up. After Sydney napped we had lunch and then started our long drive to Dahlonega.
We left early enough so that we would have a couple of hours to play once we got to Dahlonega. So we took her to the park to play for a while!

She is at a funny point where she will want to slide. But then she gets to the top of a slide and she will decide she doesn't want to after all. But we did finally get her to go down one slide. She also decided that she didn't ant to sing this time either. She wanted to push the swing. It was so cute and she had the biggest smiles!
After we finally got her off of the playground (by telling her we were going to go open presents) we took her to the square and let her walk around and play for a while in town. We did see Santa but she was scared of him! So no pics. But right after she had no problem petting these adorable dogs.
Absolutely wouldn't go near the man in red. But give her something furry and she will gladly go up to it. She had been such a good girl that she got rewarded with a piece of mint fudge from The fudge Factory and she loved it!
Now it was time to to go to my Mom's house. They held a Christmas party just for us so that we could celebrate together before our trip. She was so funny opening presents.
She got way to many presents and it's not even Christmas yet! I spent all day yesterday placing and organizing all of the gifts and I have my house looking normal. Now we just have to go and get even more presents!  One of the gifts she got yesterday was a dress up outfit. She LOVED it!
She has now dressed up like this for the last two days! It's super cute!
Now we are just preparing for our trip for Christmas. I just had to share our day with you while I had the chance!
