Well we have now been on vacation for a couple of days, So I thought I would catch you up on how things have been just in case you don't follow me on Twitter.
So the DREADED trip really wasn't that bad.  Baby Bear  actually did AMAZINGLY well on the drive up here. We couldn't believe it. Other than panting non stop Piggy did really good too! I was even able to snap this picture around nap time.
When we got here the weather wasn't quite what I expected. I was expecting Winter Wonderland! There was a dusting in some areas, but not like 3 feet of snow (which is what I expected). When we finally got to our destination we stopped in and saw Grandma  and got the key to the house since she had to work Thursday night. We got to the house and just relaxed after a LONG 15 hour and 30 minute drive. We made REALLY good time on the way up here and it didn't take as long as we thought it would. We relaxed for a bit and then just went to bed.
We woke up the next morning and Grandma was home for a little bit before having to go to work. We hung out for a bit and after she left for work we all showered and started getting ready to go to Perkins (where she works) and eat breakfast with Grandma. Baby Bear, being typical  Baby Bear , ate a little there and then wanted to eat more when we got home. So we gave her her leftover mammoth muffin. This thing is almost as big as her face!
She ate a little of it, needless to say we still have a good bit of that muffin left over. We fought with her for an hour trying to get her to take a nap. No luck! So we finally decided to just get up and take Piggy somewhere that we could let her run around and play outside. We got her all bundled up in her NEW (and 1st) snowsuit that Grandma got her.
This was only like ten minutes away from our destination. I was happy she finally passed out but at the same time it was like "Really, now you nap!". So we got to the lake and let Piggy out to play. The first picture is of the lake on the road there. The second one is Papa Bear and Piggy playing.
Isn't it so pretty? Then this one was of the road on the way out of the park. I just had to take a picture because I'm not used to seeing a whole lot of this in Georgia where it rarely snows!
After we did this we went home and just relaxed until Grandma got home. Papa Bear and I ran a quick errand at the grocery store and I just have to say that you wouldn't believe how cheap things are here verses Georgia. We got two types of beer, bread, and soda and only spent like $20.00. That would have been WAY MORE in Georgia! We all ate dinner together and relaxed. Chris and I had our beloved (Holiday Tradition) Brandy Slush...
Baby Beargot to open 3 presents from Grandma. Yes she may be a LITTLE SPOILED by Grandma. But it's okay!
Piggy is having a great time here and is loving every minute!
I'm really so glad we brought her with us!
I think we have shopping in mind today, I hope the crowds aren't as bad as in Georgia, but wish me luck! I hope you are all having a very Merry Christmas Eve!!! If I'm not back on here before we get home then have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!
