Our Weekend

Chris had to work extended hours from Tuesday-Friday this past week. This may not seem like a big deal, but Sydney and I are accustomed to seeing him way more than what we did last week. So by the end of Friday we were excited because we would have the whole weekend together as a family!

We didn't do a whole lot because we still wanted a relaxing weekend. But we did still have fun!

Saturday:

We didn't do too much on Saturday. We got up and played around the house and then decided that after Sydney's nap we should take her to the park to play. Well before we let her play on the playground we go for a long walk through the park. She started out at full force!

But that didn't last long! Those pants that she had on are a little big in the waits. So every time that she would relaly start to run she would have to pull her pants back up. It was hilarious to watch but made us go really slow. About ten minutes and half a mile into the walk she decided that she wanted Daddy to hold her. So we ended up finishing our long walk that way. Then when she got to the play ground it was time for her to have fun!  Baby Bear  played long and hard until we had to come home so that we could make dinner. Then we relaxed and watched tv until bed time.

Sunday:

Sunday was a pretty uneventful day. I do have to tell you about one funny thing though. We started the morning by watching Christmas movies and having a big breakfast. Well after breakfast I keep  Baby Bear  entertained downstairs so tat he can go up and take a shower in peace. Well shortly after he comes back downstairs from his shower I go upstairs to take my shower in peace. I even closed the bedroom door so that she would hopefully stay downstairs with Daddy. Well apparently at some point she was looking for me and "Papa Bear said go get Mommy" I have no clue how far into my showerI was when he said this. All I know is that when I came out to go downstairs I heard a little noise upstairs with me. So I look into  Baby Bear's room and see nothing. I start to head down the stairs and I hear the noise again. So I looked in the bathroom. There she was., She had been up in the bathroom the whole time dumping shampoo ALL OVER the bathroom floor!

She had it all on the (freshly washed) bathroom rugs, the floor, and herself. So there was an early bath for  Baby Bear . At first I was so mad because she shouldn't have been up there in the first place. Then it was just funny. For the rest of the day we went on another walk and watched football and played.

Like I said... We didn't do much, but we did get some much needed family time!
