Monday Randoms

Hey everyone!
I hope you all had an amazing weekend. Mine actually kind of was! I thought maybe I would share it with you, along with other things, in the form of my Monday Randoms post. 

1. I woke up on Friday morning with an email from a dear friend that made me happier than she will ever know. I can't really share the contents of this email with you because it's still a surprise at the moment. Just know that it means big things for both of us! 

2. At some point in Friday or Saturday I became inspired while doing a little work and I think I have finally figured out a design for TKC designs that I absolutely love. I know this sounds silly because I design blogs for other people and I love them. Like when I am done I wouldn't change a thing. But when it comes to my design blog that is so hard to do. I still (in 6 months) haven't come up with a design that I love! Well, I think that day may have finally come. I had this idea just bursting out of me and I couldn't wait to implement it! Here it is!

3. I know that I have said this a million times before, but I just have to comment on how amazing I think meeting people through blogs is. I have met so many women that I have found that I love talking to daily. We have taken it to texting daily and just talking about whatever we want whenever we want. I am so happy to have met these amazing women (you know who you are) and I know that if I had never started this little blog that we would have never met!

4. The weather has been amazing here this weekend! It has been a little cool, but super sunny. So we made sure to spend a little time outside! We took Baby Bear to the park on Saturday & Sunday and she loved it!

She would slide, swing, and try her very best at climbing anything that could be climbed on! I know that you have seen a million pictures of her at the park, but I have to tell you that I will always post at least one picture when we take her to the park!

5. Weekends are absolutely my favorite time of the week! We get to spend uninterrupted time together as a family. I miss my hubby when he is at work and has to work from the time we wake up (which is super early) until dinner time. I love him so much and am so thankful that he does work so hard though to support our family so that I can stay home with Baby Bear. He will never know just how much he means to me. 

6. Sleep! Well, Baby Bear is now officially healthy again. As some of you know we had started implementing the cry it out method before she got sick and it had just started working. Well then she got sick and we couldn't really do it. Now that she is healthy again we are back at it. I take her upstairs, read her a bedtime story, kiss her and tell her how much I love her, and then turn off the lamp and walk out of the door blowing kisses to her as I go. Well, as soon as she know I am leaving the room, the screaming begins almost immediately. But the last two nights it has been for ten minutes or less. That's not too bad right? The first night she slept all the way through. Last night she woke up at four, but we didn't go in there, and she went back to sleep soon after! I really hope we are on the right track to sleep. Our doctor told us that if she doesn't start sleeping to start taking away all electronics for two hours before bed. No tv, no music with words, basically no mental or visual stimulation with electronics. I guess it kind of makes sense, but didn't seem to have much effect on her. Let's hope the crying it out will work on its own.

7. Did you see the guest posts that happened this week? I did one on Lindsey's blog on Friday and then she did one on my blog on Saturday! I loved doing the guest posts and love having something a little different for you on my blog. I am thinking that Lindsey's post may be the first of many and I may start contacting people to do more for me! I already have one more lined up to post for me on Saturday and am so excited to read what she has to say!

Well, I think that this may actually sum up everything that is on my mind now! I am excited to start some work today and will let you all in on the surprise as soon as I am told that it's okay to do so!
